ST. LOUIS, MO – April 21, 2021 – Stadia Ventures is delighted to announce an Asia-Pacific alliance with Asia Sports Tech (AST) starting from April 2021.

The alliance will combine Stadia’s expertise, relationships and ecosystem in North America with AST’s expertise, relationships and ecosystem in Asia-Pacific (APAC). Together, they will focus on and explore commercialization opportunities for sports and esports startups between North America and APAC; expansion of their collective networks; and a continued generation of innovation and thought leadership on both continents.

While Stadia has created a global ecosystem and deal flow generation for sports innovation growth by leveraging their core strengths: industry expertise, network, and education, AST has focused on accelerating the development of the sports ecosystem in Asia Pacific. This has been done by providing market entry, growth and innovation strategies, as well as financial advisory services to leading sports, esports, sports tech and fitness and well-being companies in the rapidly growing APAC sports industry.

Alex Chalmers, Director of Corporate Partnerships @ Stadia:
“We are delighted to be working with Loron Orris, Jean-Baptiste Roy and Joanna Cheung and their team in this APAC alliance. They are leading the way across the continent with their experience, expertise, relationships and work ethic which aligns with  our own approach and mentality. We will continue to drive opportunities for our companies globally and also look to develop new opportunities for both companies to continue to evolve and grow.”

Loron Orris, Founding Partner @ AST:
“The team at Asia Sports Tech is looking forward to the many synergies and future opportunities created by working with the Stadia Ventures’ team Alex Chalmers, Joe Pimmel, Brandon Janosky, Bill Powell and Tim Hayden,  and their world leading Sports Innovation Hub, network and ecosystem in North America.  This APAC alliance will provide greater market entry and growth opportunities for Stadia Ventures’ portfolio companies entering Asia Pacific while providing sports tech startups from Asia Pacific much needed expertise and access to the massive North American sports industry.”
