WE CREATED A JOINT VENTURE TO IMPLEMENT THE MARKET ENTRY AND GROWTH STRATEGIES FOR A WORLD LEADING INTERACTIVE COACHING PLATFORM FOR RUNNERS THAT IMPROVES PERFORMANCE AND REDUCES INJURIES

A European company with a world leading interactive football training app and related football hardware wanted to enter the Asian market and set up sales operations. AST worked closely with the CEO of the company to develop a market entry strategy for its product by analysing the most appropriate markets and sales channels to promote the product in Asia.

After considering several football schools and academies to help promote the product and assessing the retail environment for football training equipment  we recommended that the first steps for the company should be to sell through referrals at clinics and academies and also to set up an online sales portal.   We also recommended forming a joint vernture with the company. The CEO agreed to pursue this strategy to establish the company in the region and quickly build sales opportunities in the region.

AST reached out to our football network to demonstrate the product and get several academies on board in the region to promote the product.  We also set up warehousing and the online sales portal including geo-fenced pricing and distribution.

Today, we continue to sell the product and are successfully executing the sales plan.  With the success of the sales we are now in discussions with the owner to expand into another new sports technology product from the company.
