Asia Sports Tech’s Founding Partner Jean-Baptise Roy and Donn Davis, the Co-Founder & Chairman of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) have brought us an inspiring conversation at the SportsPro APAC 2021.
As the mastermind behind the fast-growing MMA league, Donn has adapted an unprecedented and innovative approach to differentiate the game such as the season format and the SmartCage technology.
PFL has also curated a simple yet artful and enjoyable experience to drive deeper engagement with the fans from what things they deliver on screen to launching collectables, trading cards and NFTs, as they emphasize a lot on “what fans want to see and feel”. “It’s a fighters league and a fans league,” said Donn.
He also mentioned expansion plan on how the PFL can grow in Asia to fulfil their vision to become “The World’s 6th Major Sports League” after National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), and Premier League (EPL).
